The Rite of Algorithms Original

"The Rite of Algorithms" is an immersive interactive installation inspired by ancient Chinese rain-asking rituals. As human cognition and technology evolve, the relationship between humans and nature also undergoes constant change. The installation uses a wearable device to detect real-time pulse data, interacting with generative visuals to envision a future where AI becomes the creator. In this scenario, human cognition will no longer match that of AI, leading people to return to rituals as a way of expressing reverence for AI and seeking its blessings. Through this mysterious ritual, the work explores the changing relationship between humans and AI.
