2024重庆国际光影艺术节《巴别图书馆》 Original

This work was inspired by the magical realist writer Borges, whose works all display astonishing imagination, which comes from his ability to create and perceive the infinite based on a limited world. This work aims to explore the relationship between the finite and the infinite, reality and fantasy, by constructing the library and opening up infinite space. Following the rhythm of light and shadow in the installation will lead viewers into a new four-dimensional world, breaking the concept of time and space, while showcasing the infinite imagination of art at the same time. Through this light and shadow performance, the relationship between the viewer and the work is also one of infinite and finite, symbolizing that in the era of information explosion and increasing mental pressure, art and imagination can be used to construct a spiritual sanctuary for rest and recuperation.
