Heartsync is an interactive installation that utilizes live heart rate data to visualize group heart rate synchronization in sessions with 10 individuals, through visual elements. Artist Nino Basilashvili considers heart rate synchronization as a powerful symbol for deeper connection among people and views it as an effective method to promote greater unity. As both a researcher and artist, she is convinced of the potential of this method as a solution to the lack of connection in society. She proclaims: "The future is synchronization."

The rhythm of your heart rate varies throughout the day. When you are relaxed, the time between your heartbeats is more constant than when you are tense. Each person has their own, unique heart rate rhythm. The more constant your heart rate, the more present you are in the moment.

Despite this unique nature, people's heart rhythms can synchronize. Let's take the time to tune into our own bodies, the people around us, and our environment.
