有裂縫的房間 A Fissured Room

前陣子為了台中國美館U108空間徵件作的提案。

想用雷射和投影畫一條單純被聲音驅動的光線，看起來就像一道裂縫，讓置身其中的人有另一種和空間相處的姿勢。

很可惜並沒有得到評審的青睞，希望有機會在某時某地實踐這個想法。

面對徵件落選是藝術家的日常，即便寫信詢問落選原因以及想瞭解評審名單無人理會，藝術家還是需要練就強大的心智，抱持正念樂觀積極繼續投用力投，下次還有機會這樣 💢

For the proposal of the U108 space in Taichung National Museum of Fine Arts. It's about drawing a simple audio-reactive line with lasers and video projectors, resembling a fissure, prompting people inside to have a different posture to get along with the room. However, it was not selected by the judges. Hope there will be an opportunity to realize this idea someday somewhere.
Facing rejection is part of an artist's daily life, even if you write to ask for the reasons or the identity of the judges and receive no response. Artist still needs to develop strong mental resilience, keeps a positive, aggressive, optimistic mind to apply continuously, and next time will be your turn. 💢
