Though light is invisible, it actually refers to thousands of intentions in our hearts. It may be a candle, a firefly, or a dawn. It is a hope that breaks through despair. Even if we close our eyes, we can also feel the lingering warmth brought by the light on our eyelids. Such kind of warmth also can be felt even with closed eyes when a child cries for the first time at birth.
It is so soothing. Like hands of an adult, it protects us as if we were babies who are still crying. We want to keep the light, turning it into everything, and let it travel through the clouds. We hope that we can present the light in our mind to everyone from the children's perspective through straightforward strokes, frame by frame hand painting, and the most primitive yet delicate illustration to achieve animation. The innocent children though reckless will march forward bravely despite of the uncertainty and bumpy future.
I hope this two-minute work, can remind you of childhood, and encourage you to be a five-year-old boy again. Therefore, we can feel the light in our hearts with the most innocent heart to enjoy the naivety of being a child and a promising future.
