"The Fractured Room" is an immersive VR interactive narrative work centered around the theme of college students' anxiety. The player is trapped in a dormitory space distorted by "time rifts", where floating pages, stopped clocks, blurry mirrors, and distorted voices together form a visualized world of anxiety. The work explores four emotions: "academic anxiety, time anxiety, self-misalignment, and social anxiety". Through subtle physical interactions, such as organizing pages, following the rhythm of tapping, wiping the mirror, and listening to the voice, the player gradually repairs the "time puzzle" symbolizing emotional imbalance, allowing the space to regain its fluidity. Visually, it adopts a soft style reminiscent of children's picture books, combined with warm lighting, fogging particles, and floating elements, creating a dreamlike psychological space. The sound design gradually reduces the sound of clocks, noises, and heartbeats, allowing the player to gradually enter a calm state during the interaction. Expressing anxiety is not an enemy; it is time that has lost its rhythm. What the player ultimately gains is not "complete cure", but the ability to relearn to slow down and breathe with themselves and time again.
