Generating Art
The work is based on the themes chosen by three people ("safety", "auditory symbols", and "blind people"), and achieves mechanism correlation under three different themes.
Under the summary of the general theme, the three are divided into narratives with different progresses, and the points are connected by the same rhythm.
"Safety" takes the three colors of green, yellow, and red and corresponds to them with the low, medium and high level of safety, and then breaks down the world. In the era of the epidemic, has the unit quantity under these three colors deviated from its original meaning? By these deviations, the question is green absolutely safe and red absolutely dangerous. Through the technique of collage and the stacking of images, a new world is shaped, trying to find a truly safe place.
The "blind man" unfolds the narrative through doors, cars, and traffic lights, and the blind person uses the "palm" unit to understand the world, expressing contact with the world from two perspectives. They perceive different areas of objects from a fragmented perspective, reorganizing and constituting them in their brains. For the abstract aspect, words are also printed on paper as Braille and this text opens up our understanding with a new abstract perspective. Braille symbols run through the video and narrate the video from the side.
"Auditory symbols" are built on the premise that the content people want to express is becoming more and more complex, requiring people to choose a very convenient and concise tool to match their complex and abstract communication needs. Select DingTalk's message prompt tone to disassemble and translate, and subdivide and arrange the three sequences of "waiting for the light", shuffle the order, and form a messy or orderly electronic continuous sound. Add long stages of tinnitus and clock sounds, adding rhythmic sounds while adding electronic sound effects. Form a sound combination that is disassembled with DingTalk message tones.
