The immersive epic drama "Flying Horses" has celebrated its first anniversary at the Anping Cultural and Sports Center. Directed by Ding Feng and planned by Pan-Asia Cultural Tourism, with visual creation by SKG+, this grand spectacle unfolds in a panoramic theater spanning 7,000 square meters with a height of 20 meters, showcasing magnificent horse performances and epic visual effects.
"Flying Horses" centers around the spirit of the ancient Chinese "Dragon-Horse," interweaving historical elements such as "The Prince's Carriage Departure," "The Holy Maiden's Rescue," and "Nomadic Archery." It is divided into five acts: "From Dust to Horse," "Snowstorm at Huto," "Autumn Pastoral Song," "Battle and Sacrifice," and "Flying Horse Patrol."
This epic horse dance performance combines culture, tourism, and history, using splendid visual technology and surrealistic artistic expression to reveal the mysterious aspects of ancient Baling. Employing techniques like virtual reality, live action, and mixed reality, it creates a space-time intersection for the performance, profoundly interpreting the spirit of Anping's horse culture.
Featuring nearly a hundred horses and over two hundred performers, "Flying Horses" blurs the lines between reality and illusion, presenting a boundless fusion of art and reality. It stands not only as a large-scale, positive cultural and tourism extravaganza but also as a vivid portrayal of Anping's history and culture, offering audiences an unforgettable sensory experience.
