entropy-A Original

An audio-video artwork expressing the philosophical aspect of constant change, reflecting the uncertainty of the times we live upon. With its Greek prefix en-, meaning “within”, and the trop- root here meaning “change”, entropy signifies “change within”. By extending these definition into the universal scale, the artist collates the self perception into optical & auditory form. Color, composition, and motion have been embedded thoroughly throughout the piece, creating a balance within the ephemeral form. Sound and rhythm have been synced with the visual elements to enhance the pulse, scale adjusted to tone of A(432 – 444 Hz) , widely heard frequency in our daily surroundings to our planetary resonance. Entropy is a tendency of all things to go from order to disorder. In eastern philosophy it is explained as ‘impermanence’. The work exposes the inevitable fate is among all materialistic beings, colliding into artistic harmony. A self image of imaginary fireworks. -- Concept / Artwork by ACCI BABA Sound by ALPHABETA Format dual-channel HD video / 4min30sec, loop / color + stereo / 2020
