Since the birth of mankind, we have been happy to explore the deep nature of time. The fundamental reason is that human beings' thinking and questioning of time is actually an inquiry into the nature of the world and the state of our own existence. The "Eternal Recurrence" time concept put forward by Nietzsche in Thus Spake Zarathustra points out a unique thinking direction beyond the present dimension. It means that every moment of time includes the past, present and future. Time continues to blend and overlap and emerge in cycles as every moments.
The digital art work " Eternal Recurrence " starts from the understanding of the concept of time philosophy. It explores the symbolic elements based on the time concept of " Eternal Recurrence " in related science fiction literature. And it deeply analyzes the following aspects of time philosophy: life and death, cause and effect, illusion and reality, destiny and freedom, and order and disorder.
The work consists of three parts. First, when there is no interaction, the exploration character "Future Children" will show the audience the historical development of the philosophy of time. Then, when the audience triggers any option, they can enter the corresponding contradictory reincarnation space and swim among the many metaphorical symbols. In addition, when the audience stretches out their palms to the designated area, they can grasp the instantaneous surging image of "Eternal Recurrence " time in their hands. This series of symbolic dynamic scenes and graphics will stimulate the audience to think about the core of time and the world from different perspectives. and they will face to various challenges in life with an open mind.
