Roar of the Sea·Sensory Experiment
In recent years, with human exploration of the ocean, man-made underwater noise is threatening the health of many marine mammals. In order to adapt to the marine environment, whales have evolved the ability to find echo distances, and judge the distance between themselves and obstacles by the time of this superbirth round trip. Once disturbed by man-made noise, its echolocation will be disordered, and it will get lost or even stranded and die. When the noise fills the entire underwater world, the ocean confines countless creatures like a cage. They have nowhere to escape, and they choose to die because of interference.
Based on ocean noise and whale modalities, we envisioned the ocean world of particles in the eyes of underwater creatures. Through the show, we interactively simulate the echolocation of whales, observe the topography of the seabed and the impact of man-made noise, so that the experiencer can feel the noise ocean in the industrial society, hoping to arouse people Pay more attention to marine animal sounds and marine noise incidents.
