Intro: “Five Flavors” is a collective formed by students from the Open Media Department of the School of Intermedia Art at the China Academy of Art. The group focuses on cross-media creative practices centered on virtual imaging technologies such as Blender, Unreal Engine, and After Effects. The collective is committed to exploring integrated modes of expression that combine text, sound, and moving image, constructing complex audiovisual fields through multi-temporal and spatial narrative structures. Their work engages with the shifting boundaries between reality and fiction, memory and perception, employing experimental media languages to investigate contemporary image syntax and narrative logic. The result is a visual expression that is both poetic and critically reflective.
