Proforma Videodesign

Intro： PROFORMA is a project that, after years of experience, realizes the already existing collaborations between Nicola Buttari and Martino Chiti. A videodesign collective specialized in virtual scenography and projection mapping for big events, theater and brands. In 2018 the two artists conceived and founded, together with other Livorno realities, Immersiva (a company whose goal is to open a permanent multisensory exhibition center in the La Venezia Nuova district of Livorno) dealing with the creative direction and realization of the contents. Nicola Buttari is a video designer, concept artist and virtual set designer for events, museums and shows. His artistic career began as a visual, performing immediately in the best electronic clubs and festivals between northern and central Italy. In Switzerland he learns the technique of projection mapping and generative art. Back in Italy, he specializes in video mapping on large buildings, interactive installations for prestigious brands and companies, museum video installations and virtual sets for theater, dance and opera. Martino Chiti is a photographer, director and video designer. Photographer and video artist deals with virtual installations and sets for events, theater and museum projects. He makes documentaries and reportages collaborating with institutions and associations involved in health and educational projects. He diligently studies the relationship between society and the individual, constantly looking for new experiments.
