Intro: Daniel Vier - fine arts, Hamburg John-Robin Bold & Andy Cowling - music, Hannover/Berlin Daniel Vier is a painter and installation artist based in Hamburg. His work on the aesthetics of Western neo-spirituality have been exhibited in London, Munich, Leipzig and Hamburg. He graduated with distinction from the University of Fine Arts Hamburg under guidance of Anselm Reyle and Markus Selg. Daniel won scholarships by the Christa and Nikolaus Schues Arts Foundation and the HfbK Fellowship. John-Robin Bold (*1995, Hamburg) is a composer of electronic music and a media artist. His work poses the question of the contemporary conditions under which music as a 'high art' could be (im)possible. Under his own name, Bold released music on Mille Plateaux, Quanta Records and bitbird that juxtaposed abstractions of sacred Renaissance and contemporary pop music. John-Robin Bold’s work was presented at ZKM, The New Art Fest 2020, Golden Pudel, Forum Stadtpark, FUSE Art Space, Ars Electronica Global Gallery among others. As an active soloist, electronic musician, and composer from the United States, Andy Cowling (*1987, Fairmount, Indiana) has a passion for furthering music appreciation, from the ancient to music written to address the social issues of the present day. His solo debut album, “July 4, 2020”, was released on Mille Plateaux in the summer of 2020. A follow-up release, "November 2, 2020" came soon afterwards. He received scholarships by Musikfonds, GVL and maintains a private studio in Hannover, Germany.
