mammasONica

Intro： We are mammasONica, an Italian multidisciplinary Creative Studio with a transmedial distinction. Our audiovisual approach combines a fond social aesthetic and a strong relationship with the public space. As a creative studio, we focus on sensitive environments, creating interactive and compelling storytelling and developing a digital experience where involvement unfolds towards collective and emotional participation. We involve complex AV storytelling experiences that are technically outstanding. We leave the audience with thoughts and feelings that linger long after the performance. Over the years, we have exhibited large-scale projects in prestigious locations, including the European Parliament in Strasbourg, the Atrium in Weimar, the Palace of Parliament in Bucharest, the Romisch-Germanisches Museum in Cologne, and Lancaster Castle in Lancashire. From the greek theatre in Taormina all through the vineyards of Napa Valley to the colossal waterfalls of Wadi Namar in Saudi Arabia, our performances achieved international awards and academic recognitions, often presented during university lectures as a way to handle locations with challenging identities. Besides artistic creation, mammasONica actively engages within international schemes towards participatory projects, virtual educational workspaces, and capacity-building programs. Thus realizing new prospects for applying technologies to improve sociability, cultural exposure, and interaction at every age.
