Yunling Song is a visual artist from Shanghai，receiving a BFA from Shanghai Institute of Visual Art (2014), and her MFA from the School of Visual Arts in Computer Art (2016).
She continues to combine the latest technology with creative visuals.
Her recent exhibitions, curations and performances include: SVA MFA Computer Art’s Fall 2015 Open Studios, SHARE NYC and MINY Center, Improvised Electronics Round Robin: Dark Circuits, Culture Hub and so on.

Evanescent is an audio-visual live performance. Its visual language system evolved from outlines of Chinese Landscape architecture that when fragmented resembled words. All the abstract symbols were remixed into a unique grid system. The characters formed a visual language that is not legible at present but will be understood in the future by a post-humanist world culture.
