Autophagosome 自噬体 Original

-- An autophagosome is a special structure with double layer membranes in the autophagy process, It is the key structure in macroautophagy, the intracellular degradation system for cytoplasmic contents. Artists stimulate biological methods through fluorescently labeled autophagosomes. Fluorescently labeling is a common method to observe cells in biology, and artists mark the collected autophagosomes and convert them into 5*24 arrays of light, allowing viewers to see the process of fluorescently labeling autophagosomes. Artists blur the boundaries of microbiology and new media art, giving the biological term of autophagosomes an artistic meaning through visualizing a short-lived cellular material. Inviting the audience to experience this short-lived, special-purpose organelle, and feel the penetration of tiny cells in an immersive "cell" light array.
