Artwork description:(观念、想法、影响)
This work is a public space lighting installation, works built in the tunnel. The dripping sound of the infusion tube gives a feeling of time passing, and the five glass jars with different materials are similar to five different life. Through the medium of light to create, coupled with the sound of water, the installation and the tunnel are into one. When the visitors are in the tunnel, they cast shadows on the wall of the tunnel. At this time, the audience also became part of the work.
The dark and damp semi-enclosed environment inside the tunnel usually brings a sense of depression to people's hearts, and psychologically creates a kind of oppression for people. The “ticktock” lighting installation in this environment has reduced people’s feelings, and the quiet atmosphere in the tunnel is also very beneficial to improve people’s thinking.
We hope that every audience can stop and think in this light and shadow space, and hope that this installation works can touch the hearts of visitors and awake their deep memory of their past memories.
