征兆 Omen Original

征兆是一件屏幕交互视觉艺术作品。一叶知秋，瞬息万变。一个简单的言行举止，其背后蕴含的能量，时常深不可测。有迹可循的征兆，代表着预言，趋势和怀疑。这组由四个屏幕，一个Hokuyo雷达传感器组成的声视交互装置，想要传达给用户一种对行为本身的反思以及因果变幻之间的辨证关系。深邃如海底般的图像暗流涌动，当用户接触屏幕的瞬间，无法预测的液态符文和声音如同流动的介质一样散开。随着用户调整手掌的位置，液态介质铺满整个视觉空间，声音也随之改变，映射着某一个微观宇宙已经被用户所影响。而当用户收回手掌，所有图像收缩，回归原状，仿佛一切都没有发生过，只有在不被注意的暗色之中若隐若现的圆形，代表着之前涌现过的历史。征兆中生长收藏四个阶段，从秋毫般细微的萌芽，到被完全改变的世界，而最终又回到看似相同的原点，其中微妙的关系和隐喻，是组成这个作品的核心。

Omen is an interactive multiscreen visual art piece which made for 2018 Shanghai international culture device exhibition in China by Digital FUN. The concept comes from the butterfly effect, the power of a simple action can affect any unknown consequence. By applying Hokuyo laser scanning rangefinder sensor with Touchdesigner program, the unexpected fluid-look rune shows up with sound when people touch the screen. The rune spreads out as a floating media, mapping with the unlimited possible omens. If none touch the screens, it will back to a chaotic state as the time before universe shaped. In our concept, the relationship between born, grow, constriction and fade is a good metaphor of the world that affected by us, the causality is hidden by every single action of human being.
