Colorful Rhythms of Guizhou is an AIGC audiovisual work centered on the intangible cultural heritage of Guizhou, built around the idea of “making a thousand-year-old voice visible.” Inspired by the multi-part vocal tradition of the Dong Grand Song, the film uses sound as its narrative thread, connecting cultural elements such as Miao embroidery, batik, silver ornaments, Nuo traditions, Wind and Rain Bridges, and Guizhou’s karst landscapes. Ancient voices move from mountain valleys and villages into contemporary cities and toward the future.
The original song A Thousand-Year-Old Voice was created and arranged with Suno AI. ChatGPT Image was used for character, environment, and key visual development, while TapNow was used to generate the moving images and final video sequences. Through this AI-assisted workflow, the project reconnects traditional sound, intangible cultural heritage, landscape, and contemporary youth expression—allowing tradition not only to be preserved, but to grow again, moving from hearing to seeing, and from Guizhou to the world.
