Xie Zhenlin frankly believes that the essence of artistic creation lies in following the inherent nature and patterns of colors, rather than deliberately trying to evoke resonance in the audience. From discovering the emotional power of color mixing during his university years, to persistently collecting natural colors and customizing gradient color palettes according to color codes, and finally settling on geometric shapes after numerous attempts—because they most effectively convey the tension of colors and also reflect the sense of order inherent in his fascination with space and time—he gradually came to realize that the true value of creation lies in the deep alignment between one’s own aesthetic tastes and true passions.
