Ethereal Resonance Original

"Ethereal Resonance" is a real-time interactive sound installation inspired by a 2024 New Yorker article on AI energy consumption and the social impact of deepfake news.
Upon entering the installation space, the audience experiences sensory stimulation that makes the negative abstract aspects of AI energy consumption more immediate and tangible.
The images on the screen are iteratively generated by AI, serving as a metaphor for surveillance and voyeurism. Stones, symbolizing energy consumption, interact with the physical elements beneath, blending the virtual and the real. As the audience approaches the AI brain, sensors convert the data into MIDI signals, triggering fluctuations in the parameters of music.
The sound, played through multi-channel speakers, aims to immerse the audience in the invisible secrets of AI.
