Mid-Autumn Reimagined with AI: Chengdu & Chongqing Aligned
For this year’s Mid-Autumn Festival, FLINT WALK employed a full AI-driven pipeline for a cross-city showcase on two of Southwest China’s landmark naked-eye 3D screens: Chengdu’s Yingjia S+ and Chongqing’s Manhattan Mega-Screen.
Instead of repeating the familiar Mid-Autumn icons, we reinterpreted the Jade Rabbit and the full moon through AI, reshaping them into a playful expression of reunion.
By blending cultural symbolism with AI production, we continue to explore how technology can reinterpret tradition while also adding a distinctive Chengdu–Chongqing perspective to one of China’s most celebrated festivals.
