我的作品和研究聚焦于从艺术和技术的角度来看味觉和美学的关系。美学包含了感官的表达。尽管视觉和听觉是新媒体相关艺术表现的主要手段，但味觉却被大大 的忽视了。我的作品阐述了如何在 3D 打印和数据可视化的帮助下，将味觉转化为其他的感官体验，如音频，视觉和触觉。帮助观众更好的理解，体验和分享味觉感受。
This research focuses in the connection of taste and aesthetics from an art and technology point of view. Aesthetics involves expressions through senses. While visual and audio sensory are prominent means of new media related artistic expression, taste is largely neglected. My art work illustrates how taste can be translated into other sensory experiences such as audio, visual as well as touch with the assistance of 3d printing and data visualization, it helps people have a new experience of taste.This is shown with a case study art project that can also reveal the patterns of people’s diet.
