中国团队受邀亮相 2023 柏林灯光节《森林物语》 Original

In August 2023, the SKG+ team received an official invitation from the Berlin Light Festival to create a light art project around the theme of "Colours of Life" for the Berlin TV Tower.

Hidden within the forest lies a mysterious magic, nurturing countless lives and embodying infinite energy capable of creating miracles. This story unfolds in five chapters: the Magic Forest, the Winds of Nature, the Energy of the Earth, the Remnants of the Sea, and the Wonders of Flame. Through the lens of nature, five exquisite and fantastical forest worlds are constructed. Wind, earth, water, and fire are imbued with life, interweaving elements of magic, nature, flowers, land, ocean, civilization, flame, fantasy, and crystals to create an enchanting realm of elves, leading viewers to explore the colorful and wondrous life deep within the forest.

The Berlin TV Tower, towering at 368 meters, stands tall above the clouds, 45 meters higher than the Eiffel Tower in Paris. Its observation deck has a diameter of 24 meters with 60 non-refractive glass windows, providing excellent reflectivity. Thus, the tower is imagined as a cosmic gateway, with all animations designed to grow and move upward dynamically.

At the end of the universe lies the eternal paradise. The journey along the cosmic gateway is a continuous encounter and separation with the world's phenomena. All beautiful scenes and yearnings are beautifully presented, with flowers intertwined with civilization, joyful memories surrounding, and a journey through the beautiful voyage of life, arriving at the eternal paradise, where the stars shine brightly.

"At the highest point of the cosmic gateway, at the end of the world, we encounter angels, and our most missed ones are also waiting there to welcome us." Creator Gong Zhen not only channels his longing for his departed loved ones into the work but also conveys philosophical reflections on all life through the work. "Heaven, Earth, and Humanity" together form the "Three Powers," the starting point of Chinese philosophy. "Forest Tale" transforms the Berlin TV Tower into a connection of heaven, earth, and humanity, connecting all things in the world.

Life blossoms, everything has spirit, the universe is vast and colorful. When light shines through the glass, we meet within the radiance, expressing infinite longing for loved ones in a multi-dimensional space of wonders, and understanding the beauty of life in the dreamy river of existence.
