INTERACTION, written by Zhang Yikun, a student of the 23rd grade of Art and Technology Digital Interactive Art direction at Shanghai Institute of Visual Arts, under the guidance of Du Xian and Liu Yiming.
Based on the simulation module synthesizer and real-time music visualization for live audio-visual performance. The performance system is based on the self-built vcvrack (simulation module synthesizer software) to the TD pipeline, real-time capturing the sounds of the artists' improvisation during the live performance and conducting visual translation. Using the midipad, the operation of the simulation module synthesizer is physicalized to create the performance stage.
This is a visual experiment about intention and response, abstracting the link as "intention input - energy conversion - cosmic response". Based on this link, the artist designed four performance chapters, "Connection, Wave, Oscillation, Zero Return".
The initial thought awakens the ten-dimensional divine煞. Thought is information， thought is energy， thought is the world， thought is fate.
