This work is an attempt at a stylized rendering pipeline based on Unity, aiming to restore the painting style of the famous cartoonist Mobius using a game engine.
Möbius, whose real name is Jean Giraud, is a world-renowned French cartoonist known for his unique artistic style and profound exploration of science fiction and Western themes. He was born in France in 1938 and, in addition to using the pen name M ö bius, also frequently used Blueberry as another creative identity. M ö bius began his artistic career by illustrating comic magazines in France and Belgium, but what truly made him famous was his co founding of Métal Hurlant magazine in the 1970s, a pioneering comic magazine focused on science fiction and fantasy themes.
Möbius' works are renowned for their intricate lines, rich imagination, and attention to detail. His art style blends surrealist elements with futuristic design, creating worlds that are both familiar and unfamiliar. He is particularly praised for his designs of machinery, alien creatures, and complex structures, which often have strong personal characteristics and can inspire readers' endless imagination. In addition, Möbius has collaborated with several renowned directors, including providing conceptual designs for the films Alien and The Fifth Element, further demonstrating its influence in the field of visual arts.
