Dimensions Original

DIMENSIONS is an installation that we brouight into existence together with GONZO visuals.

We have provided our perceived world with objective metrics and coordinate systems,
ensuring our self-orientation and helping us communicate with each other. The three
dimensions perceived by our eyes helped us to navigate, to know the physical world,
to build our houses, or to place our furniture. These objective realities have given
us trusted coordinate systems since Euclid, and our common belief in them has been
reaffirmed over the last two thousand years.

Today, we see deeper than ever in our history. Our networks are more extensive than
ever, our intersubjective realities are reshaping societies. We live in an age where our
own technological advances force us to revise our millennial thought structures.
The soothing scheme of measurement -> theory -> measurement is overwritten by the
creative person who brings new questions to life with his new worlds. Recent radical
events in our created world are reinforcing our assumption: we are at a turning point!
The universality of our previously secure dimensions and the questioning of its
objectivity are now inevitable.

The purpose of our light installation is to illustrate the turning point of our time.
Increasingly complex worlds are born before our eyes, believed our most reliable sense
organ, although the geometry of the surfaces that give them space is created by
repetition of themselves. The seemingly objective reality created by vision becomes the
space created in our heads just as form is born from space and light is born from
darkness in front of our eyes.

The animations made for the sculpture are unique, specially developed for these sculptures.
Each of the sculptures has an approx. 8 minute show including audio to make the whole
experience deeper.
