The mortise and tenon structure, deeply rooted within buildings and rarely visible on the surface, is the smallest unit that supports the stability and aesthetic composition of structures. In today's virtual world, building construction no longer relies on traditional fixed structures, making this technique, which embodies the wisdom of craftsmen, seem somewhat out of place.
This work attempts to explore the changes and uncertainties of Chinese traditional architectural geometric aesthetics in digital space through algorithmic speculation. The cyber form of mortise and tenon is both an embrace of algorithmic generation technology and a tribute to traditional craftsmanship.
