Psychedelia is an interactive new media work developed using TouchDesigner, designed to provide an immersive visual experience for the audience. This work combines the powerful functions of TouchDesigner with the aesthetics of abstract art, and creates psychedelic visual effects through real-time processing of images and videos.

The main functional components of the work are divided into the following six categories:

1. COMP components: Used to build user interface and interaction logic, so that the audience can interact with the work in real time.

2. TOP component: mainly used for processing images and images, including image capture, processing and output. In Psychedelia, the TOP element handles various visual effects, such as color changes, filter applications, and so on.

3. CHOP component: Used to process audio signals, which can realize synchronous interaction between sound and vision. In Psychedelia, the CHOP element handles the rhythm of the music so that the visuals change in sync with the music.

4. SOP components: mainly used for 3D processing, including 3D model construction, animation and lighting effects. In Psychedelia, SOP components are responsible for creating three-dimensional psychedelic effects that create an immersive visual experience for the audience.

5. DAT components: used to store and process data, such as user interaction data, image data, etc. In Psychedelia, the DAT component is responsible for storing the audience's interaction data in order to adjust the visual effects according to the audience's actions.

6. MAT element: Used for material and texture processing, can add a variety of materials and textures to the 3D model. In Psychedelia, MAT elements are responsible for adding psychedelic texture and gloss to the stereoscopic effect, making the piece more appealing.

Through the combination and interaction of these functional components, Psychedelic works present rich visual effects and bring an immersive artistic experience to the audience.
