RELIC Original

Relic is a pyramid-shaped luminous vessel, settled in the heart of Metz to shift the perception of the viewer and offer a new perspective. Shrouded in mist, a column of white light shoots into the sky, while open work design brings transparency to the solid structure. Relic is a place of urban regeneration, and a transformative meeting spot, it can be climbed or treated as a place of rest. Its performative character activates the senses, materials such as light, fog, and mirrors create a sense of uncanny immersive experience. The installation emphasizes the value of each individual, underlying the importance of being mindful and present in the moment. Passers-by are invited to become a living monument, which can remind us that each person creates their own story, contributing to a collective history.
