"The Memory Machine: Sound", an interactive sound sculpture created by Daric Gill, transports visitors to global landmarks or special moments through recorded ambient sounds. By promoting immersive exploration, Gill encourages curiosity and engagement with the world's wonders. We've all seen photos of the Eiffel Tower in Paris, watched movies of the ancient Colosseum in Rome, & stared at the brush strokes in a poster of Vincent van Gogh’s "Starry Night". But what do they sound like? This sonic installation is a motion-activated sound sculpture that plays a collection of recordings, taken during the artist's travels to some of the world's most interesting & memorable places.
