W Hotel Chengdu was opened in October 2020. To create the thematic atmosphere of the opening venue, new media art and installations were designed in multiple locations in the hotel. At the exterior entrance, industrial projectors were used to create the specially shaped projection mapping on the top of the entrance. In the interior conference room, multiple projectors were used to create the overlong ground mapping effect. In the Spark Bar on the top floor, an interactive video installation was designed in combination with the characteristic culture of Sichuan Opera. Following the fashion, modernity and trend of W Hotel, new media art is used to create a new experience.
