The Eyes and The Sun Original

The Eyes and The Sun Never look at the sun directly during day or noon, but not in a sunset time. This is the moment where we are able to appreciate the beauty of it with no need of the protection of sunglasses. Since the sun is above halfway to horizon, the distance that the light has to travel from the Sun to an observer is at its greatest. The blue and violet light has been scattered, and the sphere turns bright in reddish. We simulated the look and feel of the sunset moment where our eyes is able to meet the sun. This installation is a part of the main project “05:50pm” where we aimed to capture and extend the feeling of the moment of sunset.
