At present, the problem of environmental pollution is prominent, and the popularity of environmental awareness makes waste material, as an almost inevitable product in manufacturing production, gradually attract people's attention. In this context, the author focused on the acrylic waste and conducted material experiments on the acrylic waste in collaboration with material experts and material processing plants. The main experimental paths were "dissolving and repolymerization" and "powder pressing". By combing and analyzing the expressive force of the materials obtained from the experiment, the author found that the sheet produced by pressing acrylic powder residue has a more unique aesthetic interest, especially when it is matched with lighting. Therefore, "Collection" lighting installation works use this new material, with a relatively simple shape to highlight the expression of the new material and application possibilities.
