以一标准人丈量空境 Original

"Existence" gives people convenience, "inexistence" plays its role.

Man-made space is to serve people, can not be separated from the existence of people, everyone is a part of the space. In life, we can find many indispensable but ignored space, and most of their use function is to be passed by, and ignored. In this work, we intend to perceive this "empty space" from a new perspective, using the human body as a unit to measure space, and discussing the natural relationship between people, objects and space.

Therefore, we selected some "empty space" in our Liangzhu Campus, and generate virtual human assets from our own samples，as their unique body measurement units. Body measurement units such as posture, posture and proportion were used to measure the size and scale of these spaces. And we plan to present it in the real architectural space by projector, the audience can clearly see how many of them can fit in this space, to make people feel that they can measure or fill in places that don't exist in the impression. At the same time, it also endows this space with more possibilities and meanings.
