Tundra machina Original

Based on «Lego» processus, TUNDRA MACHINA's main idea here highlights the recyclable and reusable aspect of the spare parts, whose objective is to build different machines and furnitures according to uses, seasons and different environments.

With this process, Tundra machina is a multiple building machine system based on recycled bicycle and aluminium pipes. The different pieces results a simple grammar of shapes where each elements can be reuse in different combination such :

. Raft

As an installation format, different amount of machines are built, set up in space with specific light installation and sound atmosfear composed by In Aeternam Vale evoking bordless horizon where ancient
technology meets natural realm.

Beyond the machine and the technical approach, TUNDRA MACHINA is also a romantic vision of life where nomandic habits is empowering groups and individuals against natural and technological issues.
Between the pure design approach and inner narrative, the project is dedicated to give shapes to possible object inspired by mythcial explorator, and glorious aviator from XIXth century. If the world is now totaly scanned and digitialy analysed, the project is dedicated to bring back fundamental technology with high potential myth building in the concrete life.
