Curated by Art ZHIYI, "Chant of the Present Imagery" is a series of events for the 10th anniversary of Taikoo Hui Guangzhou, intended to convey an understanding of time through art, curated and executed by ART ZHIYI. The exhibition is presented as a multimedia architectural installation, emphasizing data visualization and local links in artistic expression, creating a space-time laboratory with a multi-dimensional experience.
CT.LAB, as the new media creation support for this exhibition, continues the concept of architect Guo Zhenjiang's 'Starry Day' spatial installation by creating the new media art installation 'B612'.
The work is based on the number of the planet where the Little Prince is located, and through data visualization, the natural data variables collected based on the geographical location of TaiKoo Hui and the ten years since the opening of TaiKoo Hui are used to drive the changes in the colour and flow of the star trails in the image, presenting a constantly evolving star trajectory.
The B612 are both a recorder and a witness of this decade. The hope is that people will find their own trajectory with TaiKoo Hui as they live with time and the universe in this starry night.
