We (Magical Theatre) delivered india's one of the biggest Permanent Projection Spectacle at Bhagwan Valmiki Tirath, Amritsar, Punjab. We covered the facade from all sides and corners (360 Degree View). The main challenge is the inventory which was already procured for other 3 different sites. but due to some administrative reason, all 3 sites were cancelled by the department even after the procurement of all the hardware equipment's and finalised this valmiki tirath facade. We have (12nos - 12k lumens Panasonic Projectors, 4nos - 10k Lumens Panasonic Projectors and 4nos - 15k Lumens Christie Projectors) to illuminate the facade. The second challenge is the time. We completed this project in 2 weeks time as Hon'able CM of the state (Punjab) wants to inaugurate the spectacle on the occassion of the birth date of the Bhagwan Valmiki.
As far as the content is concerned, as a creative head, i need to cover the facade from all the side so uniformity in the content should be given the utmost importance. So, we create a content in a manner which should look same from all the sides and corners. We used golden glitters and golden textures inspired from GOLDEN TEMPLE, Amritsar because the idea of the landscape of the both the temples are almost same (temple in the middle of the pond). We also try different color palettes pink, purple, etc to illuminate the facade as a facade illumination. We also make one content piece inspired from the design and motifs of Punjabi culture.
