GAFA Intermedia Studio

GAFA VAD Intermedia Studio was founded in 2015 September, mainly focused on the professional courses for year 3 and year 4 students in Digital Media. At present there are 35 students in the studio. Studio’s lecturer and teacher resources has an international in teaching, research and creation, and has a background of studying in Europe and United States, and actively participate in international collaboration and exchange. GAFA VAD Intermedia Studio is dedicated to cultural research and practice in the post-digital era, emphasizing the integration of interdisciplinary and interdisciplinary knowledge systems, and researching and developing new art forms with independent aesthetic values in the development of today's digital content industry;It demonstrates the maturity of science and technology and skills, and attaches importance to the close connection between people and society, space and philosophy to guide students to create digital art and design works using materials and spaces made of various digital, information technology and media. In combination with the talent training needs of the college, we emphasis on the open source spirit of the current Internet, the independence and innovation of creation on the basis of teaching and research, we aim to cultivate high-quality innovative talents that adapt to the development of the times and serve the needs of the mass culture. We also invites experts, artists and scholars from Europe and the United States to participate in teaching and research. So far, it has cooperated and exchanged with more than ten research institutions in Europe and the United States. At present, it has built a comprehensive teaching and academic research exchange in the intermedia field and International teaching platform.
