Intro: Hi, my name is Ben and I am a particles tamer hailing from Germany. One year ago I decided to quit my adventures a a laser guy all around Europe to start a completely new and exciting experience. After searching for the ‚perfect‘ program to start with I came to the conclusion that it might be a combination of Madmapper, Resolume and last but definitely not least Blender. My visuals are mostly done in the latter and I always try to create an immersive audio-visual experience together with the artists for guests, voyeurs and fans around the globe. Through the crisis I have been working with UNITE four times, did cover animations for 3000Grad Records and VJ loops for a Ibiza-based label. You can check what I did for them amongst my other works via my portfolio at vimeo.com/bendeform I’m constantly on the hunt for new exciting experiences and challenges. This is what drives me, what makes me whole.
I had the opportunity to make a 1 Hour Long Visualset for UNITE. UNITE stands for Let The Music Unite Us and contains many Event Organizer around the World like Boom Festival. On Sunday my third Visualmix for Unite is released and this time its a really special one for me. Doing the Audio with my Trumpet Budy Robert and also making the Visualisation was in the beginning a big work but i get in to it more and more in my wokring Process. Starting to bring the Logo of my own Musicproject in 3D was my first idea for the Set. Its more Downbeat and chilled so i decide also to do more slowly and relax moving. In the beginning i find ouit that will be the best option when i made all the Clips on my own and starting creating it in Blender. Always when i start doing some clips i watch some Tutorials from Nebmotion and build one of them to get in the flow ;) www.nebmotion.co.uk Making some background loops and also doing some Object clips give me the riight feeling. More then 2 Weeks later i am finish with creating and for sure Rendering the clips now its time for playing a bit around in Mad Mapper. Using my own Clips and also Background give me a nice feeling but i dont liked the colouring so i have to change something. Searching for some colouring dont make me happy and also in Mad Mapper its not so easy to make nice colouring so what should i do ? Yes for sure using Resolume Colourmapping. Say it do it and mistakes after mistakes i found a nice Result that makes me happy. I decide to do a colouring more unknown in my country but i love the colours from Latin Amerika and try to use the Colours from Artist there coming from there. SO here is the Link to the Visualset on Youtube @iboga records. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VySL8BHDbLo&t=1s&fbclid=IwAR1-o9y4So-gBJ9rAssqSj0DyU73OlwDEnrLucij80iUXLz5P-VKpeu3IeQ
Hello Watchers ;) so today i write something about my first Audioreactive Coveranimation i did for Talpa Rec a Music Label from Germany main focus on Downtempo. Vincent Gericke is a super producer and for me it was a big thing to do something for his Track. I get the Cover form the Label and starting the what can i do Process. Special for this Cover i decide to rebuild the Imageobject in my 3D Programm to get a nice Movement. After 3 Days or more maybe i dont know i come to the Point that will not look good when the hole Sphere is moving into the Object so i made just a little bounce on the Sphere and make some more modifiers on it so it looks like warmglas out from the Ofen. SO ji Liked the Sphere a lot and i am also super proud of my reflacting glass material. Making it Audioreactive was the next step to get nice movings inside the sphere. Try different Parameters and Stuff and get a nice Result even the customers like it. Making a little movement on the Background finished the work and looks so amazing. For Story i make it a little bit different first of the Resolution and also to make it more Excited. For this Cover i made over 12 Animation for Facebook/Insta and got Rendertimes over 40 Hours couse of the Glassmaterial and the Reflections.
