Intro: Du Pengcheng, from Hubei Wuhan, currently teaches at Wuhan Media College, mainly engaged in teaching and research in the fields of digital media art and virtual reality. He graduated with a master's degree in Digital Media from Tokyo Metropolitan University in Japan and is currently pursuing a doctoral degree, with a research focus on virtual reality and immersive interaction. He has long been concerned with AIGC image generation, virtual space design, and interactive installation art, and is committed to exploring media expression and digital narrative in the context of the metaverse. In terms of teaching, he is skilled in using mainstream digital media tools such as TouchDesigner, Unity, Unreal Engine 5, Blender, Maya, and Processing, and promotes an integrated teaching system of "AI tools + creative practice." He has multiple times guided students to participate in computer design competitions, the Blue Bridge Cup, and the National Digital Art Design Competition, where they have won awards. In terms of creation, his virtual reality work "Rumeng Shihan EATFOODINADREAM" was selected for the parallel exhibition of the 2022 Wuhan Biennale. He has served as the main planner and host, organizing the "MANA Global University Exchange Series," where he discussed the educational path and creative tools of digital media art with professors from Chinese and Japanese universities. He is committed to combining academic research, teaching, and artistic creation, expanding the expression potential of the metaverse in visual culture and human-computer interaction.
