Intro: Tomas Laurenzo is a Uruguayan artist, computer scientist, musician, and academic whose work examines the relationships between technology, politics, perception, and the construction of meaning. He is Associate Professor of Critical Media Practices at the University of Colorado Boulder and holds a PhD in Computer Science from Universidad de la República. His practice includes generative and interactive art, audiovisual performance, computer music, installation, and experimental film. His work has been presented at venues including Ars Electronica, SIGGRAPH Asia, NeurIPS, CVPR, Sónar+D, MUTEK, ISEA, and the Seoul International Computer Music Festival.
