
Intro: Yuan Quan is a Chinese dance artist, choreographer, researcher, and dance filmmaker currently pursuing a PhD in Dance. Her creative practice explores the intersections of the body, emotion, technology, and moving images. Combining choreography, cinematic language, site-specific environments, and AI-generated imagery, she investigates how digital technologies reshape human intimacy, perception, and embodied experience. Yuan received the Best Choreography Award at the 2025 Seoul International Dance Competition. Her solo Eternal won a Gold Award at the 2024 Lecce International Dance Competition in Italy and First Prize at the 2025 World Dance Sport competition. Her duet The Bloom at the End of the Road received a Gold Award at the 2023 Rotterdam International Duet Dance Competition. In 2026, she was also awarded Bronze in the Contemporary Solo category at Nationals 26 Greece–Cyprus.
