Intro： Eryao Wei Illustrator & Visual Designer Graduated from the University of the Arts London (UAL) with a degree in Illustration and Visual Media. Her creative practice takes illustration as the core narrative vehicle, crossing disciplinary boundaries to integrate graphic design, interactive art and installation media. She constantly expands the expressive boundaries and narrative dimensions of visual creation, with a consistent focus on the public value of art and community connection. Informed by her first-hand observations working as an art teaching assistant for visually impaired children, she created an immersive interactive art project. Leveraging gesture interaction technology, the work restores the visual world of children with low vision. As the imagery shifts between light, shadow and fragmentation, audiences are guided to step into the unique perceptual horizon of this special group through hand-eye interaction. Her work boasts a highly distinctive style. She favors high-saturation palettes and playful visual language, carrying humanistic reflections and her creative ethos through bold, vivid expressions.
