Intro: Fuguang is an interdisciplinary light art and public space design team working at the intersection of public art installation, landscape, and visual design. Our members bring experience in public art installations, light festivals, urban regeneration, child-friendly playgrounds, and public space design. The team is capable of developing projects from site research and narrative strategy to spatial and visual design, while coordinating material development, fabrication, installation, and on-site implementation throughout the process. Fuguang focuses on the relationship between light-based installations, site context, public behavior, and urban memory. We consider both daytime and nighttime presence, as well as how people move through, pause within, and interact with a space. Beyond artistic expression, the team also takes into account scale, structure, materials, construction methods, and long-term maintenance in real-world environments. With cross-disciplinary coordination and project delivery experience, Fuguang aims to transform narrative-driven, interactive, and visually distinctive ideas into feasible and sustainable public space experiences.
