Intro: Nan Zhang (b. 1985, Dalian) received a B.A. in Public Art from the Central Academy of Fine Arts in 2010, and an M.A. in Art and Design from the same institution in 2014. He earned his Ph.D. in Art and Culture Studies from Srinakharinwirot University in 2026. He holds the titles of Senior Engineer (Associate Senior Level) and Senior Arts and Crafts Artist (Associate Senior Level). He currently serves as an Adjunct Mentor at the School of Urban Design, Central Academy of Fine Arts, Deputy Director of the Office of the Public Art Professional Committee of the China Construction Culture & Art Association, and is a member of the China Urban Sculptors Association and the China Mural Society. His works have received major awards including the Gold Award of the China Environmental Art Award, the Gold Award of the China Architectural Decoration Design Award, and the Gold Award of the IAI Global Design Award. In recent years, his practice has focused on both theoretical research and artistic production in the fields of public art and digital art.
