Intro： Abdul Shakir, also known as "Grasshopper" is a multidisciplinary multimedia artist and co-founder of Filamen, a new media art collective specializing in new media art activation. With a self-taught foundation in contemporary fine art practices, Shakir’s work bridges traditional artistic techniques and current technologies. Shakir has participated in several notable group exhibitions, including 1000 Tiny Artworks organized by Red Hong Yi Studio,ANTARA 2.0 by Kapal Lorek in Seri Iskandar and Hanya Satu Exhibition at Balai Seni Negara. His work has also been featured internationally at events such as ANTARA Extended in Jakarta and the Singapore Night Festival 2023. Beyond exhibitions, Shakir has contributed to the art community through his involvement in several art residency programs, including Rimbun Dahan and PORT Ipoh Residency, both in 2022 and 2023.
