Intro: Judy K Suh is a Korean American artist and filmmaker from Chicago, now based in Brooklyn, NY. Her work is about taking the moving image off the wall and out of the standard rectangular frame, creating shared immersive experiences that explore altered time and space. She has shown her video installation works at international stages such as iLight Singapore, Currents New Media Festival, BLINK Cincinnati, and Platform BUNKER. She was in artist residency at Les Dominicains in France, Arteles in Finland and the Banff Centre in Canada, developing installation pieces inspired by early cinema. Currently she is a creative director for the experiential design studio Squint/Opera. She oversees creative direction from concept to delivery for museums, visitor attractions, and entertainment venues.
