Since 2021, she has been creating installation art works that address modern social issues, society, and environment. Bianka's current works are inspired by her study experiences in Japan. Having grown up in Hangzhou, she rarely had the opportunity to see the sea. However, Japan, as an island country, offered her more opportunities to explore the seaside. Due to the consistency between her previous research and the materials of artificial elements such as geography and land, she began researching works themed with "Land by the Sea." An essential theme of her work is “Swimming until the Sea Turns Blue”. When looking at the sea, its color reflects the color of the sky, which often appears gray or colorless. She believes that environmental factors and light have caused the sea to lose its original color as we perceive it. Therefore, through her works, she hopes to draw attention to environmental issues and the boundaries between reality and virtuality. As different environments can shape people’s thinking ways, she expresses her views on possible changes in the future world via her own creations. This is the purpose of her art.
